I'm so exhausted.... I need some tips on sleeping with a baby who barely naps

How old is baby? My five month old lucky cat naps but makes up for it by sleeping through the night

@Jas 5 months up 90% of the day , sleeps on n off during night some days others just up once then bk to sleep

I was the same. A zombie. I feel much better. Baby girl turned 2. Wakes at night once or twice for a quick bottle. But naps two to three hrs. As a baby, she napped half hr. If you don't have a family or a friend nearby, maybe hire a trusted nanny for a couple hrs in the morning.

@Eva my fiance won't help when home , my cousin just had her baby a few months ago

Not trying to be rude here but, what is the use of your fiance if he’s not helping you at all? If he can clearly see your sleep deprived majorly, does he not care or ? Sorry but that’s a major red flag… at least to help you out a little bit because having an infant plus working isn’t easy I have a almost 7 month old and I understand what you mean cause I am tired a lot and also work full time and am super tired specially if he’s going through a sleep regression

Omg I wish I could help you girl! Are you by chance in VA ? Also I felt like as a first time mom I was trying to accomplish everything by myself like super woman but literally you’re only ONE Person. I started putting my foot down with my boyfriend and started being more vocal about what I needed

@Shazia 😭 I'm questioning everything since he changed after our son got home , but it was a slow af change I never noticed till recently he was loving and caring when I was pregnant and sleep deprived now I'm even more sleep deprived and I don't think he honestly sees it

Have you tried talking to him about it,? You have to have communication….most guys are clueless unless told. You shouldn’t stay silent cause if you get married to him then these habits could get worse . I’m also in Texas I live in Houston

I wish I had tips 🫂your baby sounds like my baby I haven’t gotten more than 2-3 (occasionally 4) hrs since the third trimester (son is 4 months on Thursday) he only sleeps on the boob & never for more than 15 or so minutes at a time .. and if I move at all he wakes up .. occasionally on weekends I can give him to his dad (who loves his contact naps) when he’s been asleep for long enough to shower or prep some of what I need to for the week when I’m one handed (hes also a Velcro baby) have you talked to your fiance about how his behaviour has changed & you need more help (best case he doesn’t realise & thinks things are just easier rather than seeing that you are just doing everything?)

@Lesya he won't even fucking take him with him when he goes out, sorry I'm pissed cuase I haven't slept cuase he disturbed me , on top of little man gunna be up soon

Girl sorry to say, but you might as well question if that’s the type of person you want to marry 🤷🏻‍♀️ if he’s useless now, it’ll get worse married probably… there’s no use if he’s not helping or cares to help.

Me too I work overnight and have to have the baby by myself during the day and even at 4 months he’s waking up for longer periods of time and it’s burning me out Even when family member keep him for abt half the day it isn’t enough I’m thinking abt putting him in a day are jus so I can get some sleep during the day

@Shazia I am questioning it , but I actually didn't get woke up by little man at all today , so I guess me telling him off in a nice way got my point across , let's see how long it lasts
