Help please 😫

My daughters just turned 4 months old, 17 weeks, and she is constantly pulling the bottle out and putting it back in, it’s taking me an hour to feed her each time and that’s only 3 oz compared to the 5 oz she normally has. I wouldn’t be so bothered but it’s affecting her milk intake and I’m just not sure what to do at the point 😫 if you have any suggestions please feel free I’m happy to try anything at this point

Here for the answers…mine takes about 60ml at a time and then screams if you try to feed him more, then screams about ten minutes later because he’s hungry 🥲 we’re already on size 2 teats and he previously struggled with combi flow x

@Jess she’s also on size 2 teat, literally just brought some size 3 incase that’s the issue but nope 😫🤣

My little girl has been doing the same, I honestly can’t make any sense of it. We tried size 3 teats and that seemed to make her more angry 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m just hoping it’s a phase and she will settle again soon

@Lindsay I hope the phase doesn’t last too long 😫 don’t want her to drop in weight again haha

No answers, but just to say we are in the same boat so you’re not alone! She is SO distracted and constantly pulling her bottle out to either chew her own hands or from trying to hold the bottle herself 🫠 I just had a proper battle get to a few extra ounces before bed with my toddler singing in her face to stop her get distracted haha!

@Emily I’m so glad I’m not the only one 🤣 must just be a phase that I just need to wait out then and yes Ivy is also very distracted when feeding 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️

Update for anyone else struggling! Ivy just given Ivy a toy while feeding her and I managed to get 110ml down her before she started doing it again, so I still had to fight her a little to get the last 10ml but a lot better than fighting to get her to take just 60ml!

Ooh so controlling the distraction in a way by providing one? That’s interesting - might give it a go tomorrow!

@Jess yes I think that’s what’s happening, hopefully it works for you 🤞🏼
