I've mastered doing makeup in about 7 minutes which helps. I shower and dress before breakfast, then do breakfast, then I do teeth, hair and makeup as my hair has dried. But I have very short hair. But its not easy
ugh, I totally get that! I usually try to get ready while they're distracted with toys or snacks, and sometimes I just embrace the chaos and do my makeup in the bathroom with them playing nearby... it’s not glamorous, but it works! I actually checked the 'Heal App' for this and here’s what it says: "It sounds like you’re juggling a lot, and it’s completely understandable to feel overwhelmed. Here are two practical tips that might help: 1. Prepare the Night Before: Lay out clothes for both yourself and your kids the night before. This can save you precious time in the morning and reduce stress. 2. Involve Your Toddler: Give your nearly 2-year-old small tasks to help you get ready, like picking out your accessories or holding your makeup. This can keep them engaged while you glam up. Remember, it’s okay to take a little time for yourself, and you deserve to feel good! What specific challenges do you face during your morning routine?"
Hi! I have a 23mo and an 8mo! I usually let my toddler run around and put my 8 mo in the high chair with some toys and pull the high chair to the bathroom door so he can see me. He’s a serious clinger and can’t spend a second without me. My toddler runs in to say hi every little bit and hands toys to the baby.. but this is currently my best hack for having a minute to get ready without constantly having to make sure my toddler isn’t hurting the baby
I stopped wearing makeup when I met my husband. He doesn't like makeup. Worked for me. I've mastered how to use only a claw clip to hold all my hair up. Ready in 1 minute.
I’ve always had to get up before my boys especially now having 5,2,1,3 weeks with having the school run. I put littlest in the carrier, screen time or I do my make up in the kitchen while they’re eating breakfast. I just find something for them to do even if that means they’re sat watching a movie at 6am. I get up at around 5:30 as I usually end up with anywhere from 1hr/1.5hr peace and quiet to get ready
If one’s sleeping, distract the other (not sure if you allow screen time) Also, when I do my makeup with 8 month old I give her some items from my box which are suitable for her to play with!! Maybe a clean brush/empty concealer pot that’s fully closed? She even plays with a small pocket size mirror🤣 it keeps her busy for quite a while
I was showering and my 9 month old came to see me clearly upset, but I needed to shower after working out. It doesn't rly happen hubby works 6 days a week. It's just a season I would just wait or hire someone
