Sleeping in next to me
Help!! My 7 week old is pretty much constantly refusing to go to sleep in his next to me. I have tried absolutely everything! Most nights I end up co sleeping ( don’t worry we do it safely and our HV has confirmed we are doing it correctly and is happy with how we practice co-sleeping ). I don’t mind co sleeping with my little one but I would like the bed to just myself and my partner some nights. Some nights he’ll do really well and go all night in his crib but other nights he will flat out refuse from the start of the night! Any suggestions 😩

Is he feeding okay? Is he uncomfortable?
@Alice he’s feeding completely normal, doesn’t need a nappy chance etc. He settles down as soon as he’s on me just seems to really hate sleeping anywhere by on me!
Completely normal, sorry you're finding it tough. We co-slept with our babies until they were ready to leave our bed. If you want some time with your partner there's always the sofa for activities 👀🫣 that's what we do!! 😂

Do you have a Moses basket sweet? If so, try popping the top of it inside the next to me crib. My little man was the exact same until he was about 3.5months. My LO would falls asleep on me feed in at that age so I found cuddling him for 10-15minutes until he was asleep properly and then transferring him to the Moses basket inside the crib with my hand on his chest helped him settle better. It does get easier I promise 😘 xx
