15oz in 3 hours is a lot. Are you pace feeding bottles?
She’s so chunky lol 🥰 15 oz sounds like a lot but maybe a growth spurt? If she’s tolerating it and it’s not making her sick I’d think it’s ok.
How much is she having in 24 hours? 15oz is a lot in such a short time and it is quite easy to over feed with formula so I would be cautious tbh.
She’s never sick 🤷🏻♀️ believe me we’ve tried all the other things that might be bothering her when she gets fussy; nappy , hot / cold , uncomfortable clothing, cuddles, checking fingers and toes for hair, try her with a dummy etc … nope 9/10 its food. Don’t get me wrong sometimes she might go 2 1/2 hours between feeds (rarely) but then when she eats again she’ll do 8oz in one with a few breaks in between.
@Emily sounds just like my first born. He was 6lb 8oz born at 36 weeks, he got to about 10lb by 6 weeks old!! He was also formula fed. Some babies just like food, I wouldn’t worry about people saying you’ll overfeed your baby with formula, they are very clever and she will tell you if she’s full by pushing the bottle away or stop sucking. Keep doing what you’re doing! I’ve just had my second and he has CMPA and struggling to gain weight so totally opposite to our first. All babies are different and if she’s not throwing up, you aren’t over feeding! X
@Nina oh god this makes me feel better 😅 thought the universe was just testing me as a ftm haha. I was the same , she was born just over 36 weeks on the 1st of feb and when she had her first lot of jabs at 7 weeks the nurse said she wouldn’t have known she was premature if I hadn’t have said. Hope your little one is okay! He’ll be the strongest little man before you know it ❤️
@Emily just checked he was 10lb 8oz at his 6 week check so he put on 4lbs in 6 weeks 😅aaah no you’re doing fine. There’s so much to worry & think about! We got to a point with our boy where we would just keep offering more if he finished a 5/6oz bottle 😅
@Nina aww bless him! And I do the same, I always make 2 bottles at a time now, feed her one and keep 1 ready in the fridge just in case because god forbid I take more than 30s to offer her more if she finishes it 😅 learned that the hard way lol x
My baby was like this! He’s now 2 and last night ate a whole steak, corn and mash potatoes. I don’t understand where all the food goes.. he just eats and eats and eats. Our weekly groceries cost $400 💀 his plate is the same as my partners at dinner time
So cute 🥰
