Can’t stop eating send help 😂

Any other breastfeeding mamas still got the appetite of an absolute monster?! Don’t know at this point if it’s because of milk production or just that I’ve lost all self control and my daily calorie intake has gradually got bigger and bigger. I quite easily convince myself I deserve treats multiple times a day (every day of the week 🤣🤣). Polite middle finger to all the people that said breastfeeding would help with postpartum weight loss. It has been the complete opposite for me 🥲🥲

Yes but surprised I have maintained the same weight since given birth. 😅

LOL I also gained weight with breastfeeding 🥲 I think it is the giant appetite in the beginning that then skewed what we see as a normal meal and snacks! Probably stretched out our stomachs in the early days and then it takes longer for us to get full 😭

Hahaha I’m so in the same boat thank goodness I’m not the only one! I tried to diet the other day and made it one day. Day two I was starving all day and kept trying to eat healthy but in the end had to have carbs to fill up. I also wonder if it’s because of breastfeeding or because I’m now a pig 😂

As a mum of twins who are breastfed, I understand you better than anyone 😆 I’ve been eating massive positions of food and lots of fast food to meet my calorie demand 😅 gained some weight too, currently on diet as my babies only feed at night nowadays

100%. “Breastfeeding helps you lose weight.” Oh does it? Can someone tell my body that! 😂 I found it just made me super thirsty and super hungry allllll the time but I also had big babies with big appetites, so the demand was high. I think the main issue with my overeating tho was how tired I was from feeding all the time, I was sugar seeking for energy and sugar crashing from eating rubbish and the cycle continued. I was a lot skinnier right after having them than I was a year later. But it starts to normalise once you stop feeding and you just have to embrace it I think. I just learned to accept my fluffy body was keeping my babies big and strong and I could lose weight later, which I did.
