This can be completely normal. Babies can get excited. Especially around that age when they start discovering what their body’s can do more ie crawling sitting etc I have 10 year old autistic boy and 4 year old girl awaiting assessment. Yes there can be early signs but non that are fully noticed until at least a year old.. ie when they’re still maybe not crawling/making sounds etc etc..
My daughter does this constantly. She had to be evaluated for autism and they told me that it’s very unlikely she’s autistic
No this is normal behavior for babies wait til 1-3yrs old to worry about autism
My son who’s developmental delayed due to his heart use to smash his head against concrete and drag his head it is something to keep note of but I’d recommend getting his ears checked at the doctors as thet seems to have stopped my sons behaviour x
Thank you all, I will just monitor it for now😊
Hi Incognito! I hope you're well. My son never stops moving his legs and hands. When we sit on the couch he always pushes his feet up against me, or touches my face with his hands. Even though I have asked him not to a million times. Anyway, he has adhd and Autism. I would say that it's way too early to know if your child has autism!!! Our paediatrician wouldn't even look at possible diagnosis before the age of 5. He was diagnosed with adhd at 6 and autism at 7. He is 8 now. I think your boy is just having some fun. Having a stretch perhaps and possibly really eager to get moving. I wouldn't worry about it. And while it's so tempting to consult Dr Google, it's really know match for a diagnosis from a health professional. Google will tell you that you have all kinds of disorders and ailments if your looking for those things. I wouldn't trust Google for that purpose. I wish you every bit of luck with seeking a professional diagnosis, but at this early stage, it's just way too early to know. X
Also, I hope you have a Happy Easter!!
My son doesn’t have autism, but I thought my son had autism when he did that around that age but turns out that babies do that and I think it’s early to determine that (personally)
