Is the Skip Hop Activity Center worth it?

It's nice but I think you could find a better/cuter one for the same or better price.

I wouldn't pay full price but second hand or something similar will suffice

It is! My son loved it. Just make sure the time is limited every day spent in it. It can be turned into a table, etc once she grows out of it. Def worth it if you plan on another baby as well.
