Baby bottles

One of my friends told me I had to get new bottles every 6 months I don’t know if it’s true or not

@Shanta oops, I just looked it up and it does say they should be replaced every 3-6 months. But like I’m really trying to know if it’s necessary because I boil my baby’s bottles every single day and she only uses it once then I boil them I don’t reuse or wash and reuse. And bottles and nipples still seem fine not weared off or cracked or odor none of that that was listed on google. 😫

I’m glad you looked it up I didn’t know that was possible I’m a first time mom i usually ask my friends before i do anything 😭 but at least we both know something new for us both ☺️

@Shanta right, at least we learned something new. I am a first time mom as well!! I was just curious because I have a family member wife’s that is about to have a baby soon and they did not list bottles for their needed list because they have more kids so I’m like do they replace bottles or not. 🧐

They could be using it as a hand me down type of thing an they’ll probably boil them before the baby gets here some people do that some people don’t

@Shanta I boil them before first use for sure

New. My older one used it for a year so it’s time to replaced. Especially if it’s plastic there’s a lot of microplastic over a long period of time sterilizing it with heat

@Suzanna I agree!! I use glass ones too because of the plastic!!

I started using the glass bottles yesterday and I gotta say I really love them I should’ve gotten them when my daughter was born last year of October
