Co sleeping

Someone please help! My little girl is nearly 16 months and for a couple months now she’s started proper yanking my hair in her sleep. Which ofc wakes me up during the night. Idk what to do we’ve co slept from 2 weeks old. It’s just getting too much now!

Do you have a cot? If so and if you have room you could put the cot next to your bed like attach it as a sidecar so she’s in the Cot and you are in your bed. Then hopefully she will be far enough away from you to not pull your hair. Hope this helps 🩷

@Annaliese ye we have a big wooden one in our bedroom for her. But idk if the sides come off or not.

@Maria I would assume it would as you would have had to put it together

@Annaliese not too sure as it was my fiances brother who put it together

It’s not easy! My baby is only 4m old but she’s only been home for a month since she was in the nicu for most of her life. And I know I should let her sleep in her bassinet but I don’t like to :(

@Maria ahhh yea got you I hope you find a solution that works for you 🩷

Wear a silk bonnet, it keeps my heatless curlers in place anyway, but having a silk bonnet (the stretchy tight one not loose) will not give her access to any of your hair, plus keeps your hair in better shape anyway and less frizz for the day after.

@Kellie I’ve tried silk bonnets she just pushes her hand in

can you try sleeping on opposite sides of the bed?

@Samantha no as she’s breastfed still
