@Connie-Louise I hope this helps you!
@Laurel can you get this in the uk? As I see you’re in the us?
@Connie-Louise probably through Amazon!
You don’t need to worry about side sleeping until around 28 weeks, being on your back is fine still. Try stretching your legs a bit before you go to sleep (pulling your toes up towards your leg is a good way) epsom salt and magnesium creams can help too.
Get some dissolvable Magnesium and have it before bed.
It sounds like it might be your vitamin D as well, maybe get bloods done? Bc mine would hurt from my knees down and doc said it’s vitamin D xx
Leg aching, especially at night can be caused by lower levels of magnesium or calcium. A good prenatal can help and increasing dietary intake. Pregnancy can also just cause random crappy aches and pains. A pregnancy pillow can help with that too! I booted my husband out of bed to ensure I had room for my pregnancy pillow 😂
@Zara you could be right as I need to take vitamin D, I’ll start taking them and see if it helps xx
I have been struggling with restless leg syndrome from few weeks and wasn’t getting enough sleep (like 4 hours). My doc gave me magnesium supplements yesterday. So hopefully that helps.
@Connie-Louise that’s good. Also I just want to say I’m so sorry for your October loss, I’m also pregnant with my rainbow baby due in June/July. Had my loss in Feb 2024 I caught myself crying over it couple days ago after the longest time! Maybe at the thought of having two under two idk. Wish you the best of luck mama hope everything goes well ❤️
I was struggling with this until 21 weeks. Sleeping without elevated head relieved 90% leg pain. Sounds unrelated and not logical, but it worked for me. Just in case if you want to try
Thank you soo much, I need something as it can be painful sometimes
