Anbesol teething gel is amazing and also the teething giraffe. You can also get teethings toys with water inside that u can pop into the fridge and then give that when its cold and it helps babies with the pain.
It could be teething, but because of the age it will also be sleep regression and that is a pain. I would try the anbesol gel every couple of hrs and see how ur baby gets on if he settles abit with it or not. I would still give calpol before bed if you feel like he needs it. My little girl started teething at 5 months but she got her first tooth after almost 3 months lol takes forever
It was weeks for us and then two teeth came through within 3 days of each other. We found she really enjoyed the set where you can freeze purée into a food feeder.
@Alice it’s so frustrating not being able to pinpoint what’s wrong and help 😢 x
@Mera yeah I’ve got the teething gel and got the rings that can go in the fridge 😊 he’s just not satisfied with them after a while though 😫 think his saliva just takes of the gel almost instantly 🙈 x
@Mera that’s what I was thinking it could be a mixture of many different things going on 🙈 but I’m actually glad to know that it can take a long time before teeth appear cause I kept looking at his gums like where the heck are they 😂 not so glad on the other hand that it can take that long though 🙈😅 x
@Kristina it’s good to know that they don’t just appear within a week like I’ve read cause it’s made me question if it even could be teething cause of how long he’s whining and nothing happening but now I know it’s normal that they’re not appearing yet. I’ve got one of those feeders but I’ve no tried it yet I’m going to give that a go tomorrow x
Sorry to say I don’t have advice but I’m in the same boat. All the remedies and no apparent relief 😞 I’m wondering how much of it is the 6m leap as well as teeth…
