So I am still breastfeeding my girl is 14 months and I’m back at work 3 days a week. I work from 8.30-6.30, I pump when I’m at work three times a day. My schedule looks like feed before leaving for work, pump at 10am, 1pm and 5pm as that aligns with my breaks in work. I was really nervous as to how it would work but it’s been absolutely fine. I store my milk at work too, and give it to my mum to give my girl whilst I’m at work. What I will say is my supply seems to have dropped slightly on recently, I used to pump around 3-4 oz every time and now it’s around 2oz. That might be because my girl is feeding less though 🤷🏻♀️ Best of luck I’m sure it will all be fine:) xx
So I’ve been back at work since January. Working 3 days. I pump on my lunch break and store it in a bag with an ice pack (I am a supply teacher so no guarantees of finding the staff room etc) and this has worked for me so far. She only takes about 2 oz in each bottle (3 sent in total) whilst at her childminders so I don’t need an awful lot. She drinks far more at home but doesn’t always drink much from a bottle and on days off she just goes to the breast anyways.
