Working breastfeeding mummys

Anyone back to work and still breastfeeding? How are you managing working and breastfeeding? I start work soon and wfh 4 days out of 5 and have 1 day in the office. I’m also not sending my daughter to nursery straight away as me and her dad both wfh so we think we could juggle childcare between us and work (praying it’ll be manageable). Hopin g to send her to nursery when she’s between 18 months to 2 years old. Anyway any tips or hearing experiences would be really helpful for me, thank you x

So I am still breastfeeding my girl is 14 months and I’m back at work 3 days a week. I work from 8.30-6.30, I pump when I’m at work three times a day. My schedule looks like feed before leaving for work, pump at 10am, 1pm and 5pm as that aligns with my breaks in work. I was really nervous as to how it would work but it’s been absolutely fine. I store my milk at work too, and give it to my mum to give my girl whilst I’m at work. What I will say is my supply seems to have dropped slightly on recently, I used to pump around 3-4 oz every time and now it’s around 2oz. That might be because my girl is feeding less though 🤷🏻‍♀️ Best of luck I’m sure it will all be fine:) xx

So I’ve been back at work since January. Working 3 days. I pump on my lunch break and store it in a bag with an ice pack (I am a supply teacher so no guarantees of finding the staff room etc) and this has worked for me so far. She only takes about 2 oz in each bottle (3 sent in total) whilst at her childminders so I don’t need an awful lot. She drinks far more at home but doesn’t always drink much from a bottle and on days off she just goes to the breast anyways.
