Pregnancy announcements

So, a few of us are probably coming to the end of our first trimester soon (we have our 12 week scan next week) and are probably thinking of ways to announce it to friends and family. We have a lot of family who are long distance so a lot of ours will have to be video calls but planning to do an asda personalised cake with a photo of the scan for those close by. How is everyone else planning to do it? Are you involving your pets?

We have our 12 week scan in Tuesday, we already have a toddler so we've brought him a jumper that has only child crossed out and big brother underneath

We’ve also bought a t-shirt for our toddler which says « promoted to big sister » on it 😊

we've also bought a jumper for our son that says big brother, and we're just gonna put it on him when visiting family and see how long they take to notice🤣

Video call for someone abroad. In person for everyone else (I couldn't wait so only a few people left)

@Sammey we are doing the same with our daughter on Sunday because it’s the first time we will of seen my family 😂 we did scratch cards for our first and my stepmum was so confused 😂

For my first we put the scan pic next to my dog (lots of long distance family) and for this one we've got my daughter a short with big sister on

I'm going to put my 3 year old in a top saying big sister with the scan photo on it x

mine already know as i’ve had ivf, so there was an outcome one way or another!
