yeah, I've heard of people getting induced at 38 weeks, especially if they’re feeling super uncomfortable or have been through a lot, so definitely talk to your doc about it! Just looked it up on the 'Heal App' and here’s what it says: "It's not uncommon for expectant parents to request induction at 38 weeks, especially if they feel ready and have experienced discomfort. Your experience with pain and contractions is valid, and it's important to communicate this to your doctor. When you speak with your doctor, express your concerns about the pain and your desire for induction, as well as any specific reasons you believe your baby is ready. Induction can be considered for various reasons, but the decision ultimately depends on your health and the baby's well-being. Have you discussed your pain and any other symptoms with your healthcare provider before this upcoming appointment?"
why is he supposed to come out before 39 weeks?
@Heaven I have to wait til the 18th when I see my doctor to be able to discuss anything with her about symptoms and wanting to get induced
@Izzie my doctor checked me last week and told me that my son will not make it to 39 weeks
did they say why? not trying to be nosey just curious if they gave you a reason
I dont think an OB would induce before 39 weeks unless medically necessary also, what do you mean "if he's supposed to come before 39 weeks"?
