``looking for a new best friend
Seeking a genuine and supportive friend
My heart is heavy, and I'm feeling utterly alone. As a revert Muslim woman, married to a loving Kurdish man, with 5 precious children, I thought I had friends who'd stand by me through thick and thin. But a recent experience has left me feeling shattered and questioning everything.
After a painful 5-hour surgery to fix a metal plate in my wrist, I was still recovering, struggling to come to terms with the pain and discomfort. I reached out to a friend I thought I could trust, hoping for some comfort, understanding, and support. But instead, her words cut deep, leaving me feeling like I wasn't worthy of kindness or compassion.
She asked me why I hadn't asked about her daughter's surgery, as if my own struggles and pain didn't matter. It felt like she only cared about herself, and I was just an afterthought. The pain of her words was almost as sharp as the pain in my wrist.
I'm searching for someone kind, empathetic, and genuine. Someone who'll listen without judgment, offer a shoulder to cry on, and understand my pain. If you're a true friend who'll be there for me through the ups and downs, I'd be forever grateful. Let's build a meaningful connection based on trust, understanding, and mutual support
So sad to hear about this. Will PM you now xx
