Need some sleeping advice.

My little boy is now 21 months. We moved him into a toddler floor bed at 18 months as he didn't get on with his cot at all. For the first 2 months of being in his cot floor bed he slept through the night or maybe even woke up once throughout the night in his own room. But now all of a sudden he has started waking up atleast 4 or 5 times throughout the night crying because he wants us beside him. But it has never been an issue before and all of a sudden has now became an issue. It's been going on now for a month. We are barely holding on a thread at the moment with such lack of sleep and with me and my partner working full-time we can't exactly nap throughout the day. We would like some help on how to get him back to atleast waking up once or twice a night we do not mind but every night it's been waking up 4 or 5 times. Can anyone give us some advice 😫 ideally not the crying out method as personal reasons we don't do that method.

Sounds like you just need to find a way to ride out the bad nights so you get as much sleep as possible for your own sanity, alternate nights sleeping on the floor beside him maybe after 1st or 2nd wake up? If he's not always slept badly then it will be a temporary phase hopefully?

@Alice yeah I'm hoping it's a temp thing 🤞 at the moment we have been sitting there with our hand on his chest or something just to keep him settled then once he is in a deep sleep we them put ourselves into our own bed. But by the time we put our head on the pillow he wakes up again! So we might just have to sleep next to him and hope it's a temp thing 🤞 x

My son is also 21M and the last month we’ve been the exact same!!
