Feel trapped with one nap! How are you going for days out etc?

Since starting one lunch time nap (12-2ish) I feel like we can do nothing during the day. Before he would cat nap in car on the way out then wouldn’t need to be back for a sleep until 2. Now I feel if we go out we are rushing to get back for lunch at 11:30 then by the time we can go out again it’s 2:30 1.5-2hours feels too long to do on the go

I agree! It really limits what you can do in the day. Generally just making a bit more effort to get up and out early and maybe having her lunch out to be home for a midday nap

I could of wrote this myself. To the extent I don't know how we will do Easter visits

I find this difficult too as he usually naps 12-2ish but recently I’ve been trying not to let it stop us doing anything. He doesn’t nap now if we’re out and about as he’s interested by everything but doesn’t get grouchy. As long as we’re back in the car by about 3:30/4, he’ll sleep in the car and i just stay there until he’s woken up or had a decent enough nap then. It’s never as long as he’ll nap at home but it never affects his sleep or mood. Babies are all different but it’s maybe worth trying and see how you get on. I always thought too late a nap would cause problems with nighttime sleep but it’s not affected us
