A tip I heard with my first and I've used again now bf is put a finger tip on their cheek near to their mouth and if they're hungry they will try to nuzzle/latch on, if not they won't, I find it works with my LO ☺️ x
I try to put him back to sleep, if he refuses then I feed him🤭
Usually my son will settle very quickly on me once I pick up out of his crib, but if he’s hungry he won’t and he will usually root to try and latch on. If your girl’s cues aren’t as clear then Natalie’s trick works really well! You will have the supply to keep up with extra feeds, don’t worry!
My little girl is 4 months old, since 2 weeks ago she's learnt to say 'drink', so that's how she tells me she wants boob 😅🤣 when she wakes throughout the night [as i still choose to wake her around every 3.5/4 hours for nappy changes & then a feed if she's awake enough to feed] she'll usually have done something in her nappy or will want feeding, she's been teething since 2 month's ago now; so on the odd occasion it's the case of she wants comforting to fall back to sleep & if that's the case, whilst she's rubbing her gums then I'll either give calpol if she's agitated, or apply some teething gel to her gums. *At night your body makes the most milk, so could be baby can sent the milk more and is feeling hungrier - this is what I've been told by midwives back when the midwifes had to come out, the Health Visitor has also told me this 😅 x
