Thats cos oil is not a moisturiser and coconut oil in particular can be extremely drying for the majority of people. Ditch all oil and try and leave in conditioner instead and/or moisteriser
Yeah I don’t recommend using oil to moisturise hair it repels water and water is where we get moisture from you need water to be able to enter the shaft. Use a moisturising shampoo and conditioner and really let the water soak up into his curls and you can use a leave in for a softer feel. Note that if you have straight hair curly hair will always feel rougher but it doesn’t mean it’s unhealthy
I use Camille Rose leave in conditioner and it’s made such a difference to my daughters hair, it’s so soft and much more manageable x
He is so gorgeous!
@Ruby his hair is amazing wow I’ll give them both a try thank you x
@Lizzy thank you and no problem. I will say with them being natural productss they are a little bit pricer but sooo worth it
I use coconut oil too. Sometimes it works well and sometimes it doesn’t. My son has the almost the same hair. I also use Aunt Jackies kids for curly hair. You can find it in almost any beauty store and works pretty well when my sons hair is longer. I also got his hair cut at 1 and 2.
