Coconut allergy?
I’ve not had this confirmed yet but I’m certain my Lo has a coconut allergy.
I’ve just been washing my hair and I thought hmm this shampoo smells mildly like coconut. So I check the ingredients and it didn’t have coconut anywhere but I saw Cocamide MIPA so I googled it and lo and behold it’s a coconut oil derivative. So I start looking at my other shower gels, face wash, body creams etc. and they all include cocamide MIPA, cocamidopropyl betaine, ethylhexyl cocamate … it’s in absolutely everything I own and use on a daily 😓
Is coconut a trigger for anyone else’s baby? Did you know this about beauty products??

My son has a coconut allergy! We can only use sanex 0% hypoallergenic in the bath as the only thing that doesn’t contain coconut!

I think my son has coconut sensitivity but it's in his prescription milk. Not sure whether to change it because as you say it's in so many things, it might be better to keep going with it and hope he builds a tolerance so it's not a nightmare for him in later life. He's just rashy with dryness. What's your Lo's symptoms?
