Baby movements

Anyone else feel their baby moving every few seconds? I am so distressed it’s really effecting my mood. The movements are constant and throughout the night. I can’t sit down or sleep, it’s worse when I eat and I can’t finish meals because the kicks are so uncomfortable. I am constantly shouting out in pain. It’s got worse in the last 2-3 weeks and making me feel really low as I just feel exhausted and in pain all the time. I’ve tried to look online to see if this was normal but I feel like I feel the baby move 24/7 and push/ extend out constantly. I don’t know how I am going to get through 8 more weeks of this.

Not for me, mine are sporadic throughout the day! Maybe you should contact your midwife and see what she says x

You just typed exactly how I’ve been feeling the past few days. Don’t get me wrong I love knowing she is active and safe but it really is non stop, and sometimes the movements actually hurt they are that strong! I feel you on how are we getting through another 8 weeks of this as I am exhausted from not sleeping!!!

Are you active throughout the day? I find when I’m at work she’s more active and wriggling around a lot more compared to when I’ve been at home chilling for the day! I’ve started to get the foot in the rip cage so completely understand how uncomfortable you are feeling x

Hi, I have a very active little one too and I’m due around the same time. I didn’t feel this with my first so it’s very different. The placenta is at the back which she said is why I’m feeling more. I find it painful and uncomfortable too sometimes, it’s quite draining so totally understand. I have to change position a lot and I found deep breathing helps me to relax. Pregnancy meditations are nice to do and the pregnancy music for the little ones too. It’s good reassurance and a good sign that the baby is healthy. I had a private scan to check everything was ok with all the movement and it was all good. Also I found drinking a lot of water helps sometimes, in my head the more hydrated I am, the uterus has more fluid which cushions some of the kicks 🦵. Hope your feeling better and more comfortable X
