Stansted airport

Hey just arrived back from holiday today, flew with ryan air through Stansted with my 11 month old and 5yo, going through security was awful!!! We Got to the airport at 6am it was super busy, there wasn’t any priority boarding for families like at Gatwick, we waited in a queue for at least 45 mins to get through security, when we finally got seen to they pulled my bag back through the screening 4x!! I tried to explain it was likely the formula and hot water that was flagging up but they persisted on putting it back through multiple times, at this point my little ones were getting super cranky! Hopefully your experience will be better. Maybe keep any water/formula out of your hand luggage so they’re able to see straight away. Additionally I was able to keep the pram with me right up until I boarded the flight thankfully ☺️ I hope you have a lovely holiday x

We had similar issues to @Jerina, when my baby was 3 months! Took forever and they kept checking over bags and pushing other people in front of us! I don’t like confrontation but I got really cross with them my little one was due a bottle and a nap at the time and it was just a faff! Just make sure if you’re taking any baby liquids that they are removed and put into a separate tray! It’s really frustrating that they don’t have a family lane like Gatwick as that was a lot better. x
