Extreme tiredness

Maybe over exaggerating with the word extreme but it really does feel like I’m so tired all the time. How is everyone managing their tiredness especially if you have little ones running around. X

No I really don’t think extreme is an exaggeration. Third trimester is an uphill battle 🥲 I have a 3 year old and a 2 year old and I’m not doing well haha. Managing it with 4 minute power naps when they’re distracted and I can squeeze them in 😂 Feels like my whole body is just tired at this point x

@Gemma honestly that’s it! My toddler doesn’t nap but he will sit snuggle up with me on the sofa watching telly and I’ll just close my eyes and rest and end up falling asleep aha x

Normally when my 2 year old naps me and my 3 year old snuggle up on the sofa with a film and I keep falling asleep, my daughter notices very quickly though and very crossly wakes me up 😂 She says I’m allowed to relax but not shut my eyes. It’s so hard though! The minute I sit down or stop for a minute I’m yawning. I know it must be hard for them to understand at this age but also please just let us snooze for a minute 😂 x

@Gemma aha literally my son wants me to change the programme every 5 minutes as well! He gets so bored and doesn’t know what he wants to watch but he’s speech delayed so he can’t tell me he jus waves the remote in my face while I’m nodding off aha x

For me I find keeping myself busy stops me being as tired 🤣 as soon as I sit down I’m exhausted so I literally avoid sitting down 🤣 xx

Have you had your iron levels checked? Ask at your next midwife appt if not. My levels were super low and energy is much better since taking them. I also try to walk 1-5km’s daily just a gentle walk which helps with both energy and sleep.
