2 yr old crossing fingers
I’ve recently noticed my 2 yr old has started crossing his finger next to his thumb with the finger next to that one as if doing ‘fingers crossed’ I’ve googled and it says it could be a sign of autism but he doesn’t seem to have any other signs of that or it could just be that he has learnt a new skill. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience and knows what he could be doing it for?

My little girl has started doing this, not constantly just a now and then thing. I've not Googled it to be honest as it wasn't enough to be standing out to me, if that makes sense. It just seemed like she had learned a new trick, we've been trying to count with fingers so I thought it might have stemmed from that for us x
