Need help w nappy changes pls!

Yep it’s like an Olympic sport, I use a combination of different toys and other items like empty wipe packet and hairbrush to distract her. I just try and get the dirty nappy off and her clean her as quick as humanly possible, she’ll then have a roll around whilst I’m trying to get the nappy on so I just pick her up and lay her on the clean nappy and continue wrestling. Each nappy change is so exhausting 😆
I give my boy something he ‘shouldn’t’ have and it makes his day 🤣 more importantly it keeps him still. So I’ll hand him something like the pack of wipes or a small toy mirror and say things like “where did you get that, you shouldn’t have that?!” In a shocked and silly voice and he loves it! It keeps him still long enough for a messy change. The trick is to only use them for nappy changes so they don’t get used to the items!
It’s literally like wrestling with an alligator! I try giving him all different items and singing nursery rhymes/making silly noises. Also pull up diapers are a game changer because ain’t no way I’m tussling with him to fasten straps 🤣
All of the above 🤣. It’s such a struggle! Pull up diapers might be smth I need to look into. Also just a new changing setup because changing him up high has become so risky
I give my 9m old a fidget toy during nappy changes, it keeps her hands busy and keeps her still. I’ve also switched to nappy pants, It’s much easier
