is this normal??

so my baby hates being strapped down in the highchair so we just let her sit on her own in it (the tray has a leg holder thing so she cant just slip through). but lately shes being doing this (see attached video)? like kinda arching her back and moving around like shes uncomfortable or something? and today she was even doing it in her carseat and moving her head forward (which shes never done, she usually loves her carseat). am i being paranoid or is this strange to anyone else?

also to add, this video is the more mellow side of it. sometimes when she does it shes silent like in the video, and sometimes shes super fussy while doing it and more wiggly with it

Probably Just getting older, and becoming more aware of herself and what she likes and doesn’t like. Babies don’t like being strapped down. Lol. Maybe she doesn’t like being in there or maybe her diaper is wet. My baby girl does that when she is in the stroller and I stop strolling lol

My baby girl does that too! I think it’s just them becoming more aware of their bodies. Would you consider strapping her in her high chair? You’d be surprised how their squirmy behinds can maneuver out of the high chair 😬

My son has started doing this too (7 months)

My girl has been doing this recently, too. She was evening doing it in the bath last night.

@Kamilah i definitely agree! i will definitely try again with strapping her in just to be safe. thank you for your concern! :)

@Lianna mine was too! my days are blurring together so i dont remember if it was last night or the night before but she did it in her bath as well!

Stop! That hair!! 😍

@Frances i know i love it so much but its so hard to tame 😮‍💨😂
