Do babies sleep with their mouth open? Is it a concern?

My baby did, and she still does. Just turned 2. I worry. She started closing her mouth more often. I do remind her to. If it's temporary, due to a little suffiness, that's fine. But in the long term, it's not so good. Observe your baby.

My baby does sometimes but she’ll usually stop after I clean the boogers out her nose & use a humidifier.

My little girl does, my doctor said it’s completely fine

How old? It's usually a sign of something more going on. Can be things like tongue tie, enlarged tonsils and/or adenoids, tension, congestion, high palette, dental problems. Quite a few things can cause it!

a nurse told me it could be allergies or stuffy nose. So clearing out their nose and using a humidifier helps.

I second what Rebecca said it's worth getting your baby looked at! However my baby sleeps with his mouth open and it's none of the above.. we're just a family of mouth breathers unfortunately 😭🤣

Just got back from A and E, same issues,my baby was given nasal drip to clear

I didn’t bring it up to the pediatrician earlier and wish I would’ve. My speech therapist is the one who suggested getting an evaluation and now my daughter is getting her adenoids removed at 2 years. She also has difficulty sitting still, snores and still drools a lot
