Does anyone else’s child ALWAYS overreact and act as if they need an ambulance every time they SLIGHTLY hurt themselves?
My 6 year old reacts ridiculously over the top every single time she even brushes an arm or leg on something which makes it difficult to know whether an injury is genuine or not.
She then obsesses over the area that’s ’hurt’ for days afterwards. It’s completely over the top and annoy to be honest 😂
Of course if she’s actually hurt or genuinely upset, I am compassionate and comforting (I even am when she’s not because I love her I want her to know I’m there to protect her) but it’s getting to the point I feel cross about the theatrical performance!
She’s the oldest sibling and I’m pregnant again but this isn’t coming out of a place of jealousy as she’s always been like this and gets the most attention anyway!
She’s not setting a great example for her siblings at all though.
Can anyone relate?
I have a daughter who I was asked by school nursery to take to get seen by the dr as she was hobbling after falling over. The same child that had done gymnastics and had been bouncing on the trampoline that day. She’s currently moaning about her wobbly tooth and that she can’t eat. My 15 year old asd son is very pain sensitive. He took too days of school as he sat on a seatbelt buckle in the back of his taxi. Probably the most ridiculous reason ever.
