It’s the nerves it’s just because their nervous system is still developing 😌
Mine does this. Midwives have said it's nothing to worry about and could be linked to a reflex of shaking the last drops of milk out the boob - even though it happens sometime after feeds as well
It's to encourage the next letdown according to my lactation lady
If you mean the quick quivering sucks for a couple of seconds before the long sucks it's to stimulate the letdown. When off the boob, mine did it in the first couple of weeks or so due to nerve development & now at 5 weeks if she's cold :)
I was told that the bottom lip quivers sometimes as muscles get tired from the continuous suckling. Nothing to worry about
