Potty training chaos
Trying to juggle potty training my 2.5 yr old whilst caring for 4 month old baby and need advice. She is doing great but she says she needs a wee on the toilet every 5-10 minutes. Then last night descending into absolute chaos. She’s normally a great sleeper, but she was up 8.30-10.30 screaaaaming that she wanted a wee on toilet again, every 5-10 minutes for 2 hours (she did have a nappy on for bed) in the end I had to take her into bed with me with the baby the other side of me in the next to me and pray they didn’t wake each other up.
Does anyone have or have had a similar issue? I’m not sure whether to delay as she may not understand?

Is she doing big wees or little dribbles? One of my twins was doing little dribbles every 5 mins and then having lots of accidents at the beginning. I then tried grabbing his favourite character toy and said ‘lightning McQueen wants to hear a big big wee wee’ and then he had big wees and held it for a few hours then and cracked it xxx

Could it be a sort of anxiety that she doesn’t want to have an accident? I wouldn’t say she doesn’t understand at all. Just that she’s maybe not quite aware how really needing a wee feels? I’d preserver. x
