I’ve packed 4 vests & sleepsuits, one in newborn and three in 0-1 month. My boy was born 8lbs 3oz and 56cm long but 0-3 just drowned him, I’ll be sticking with 0-1 month mainly x
I’ll be taking a mixture of newborn and 0-3. A few vests and sleep suits. And maybe 1 matching set to go home in e.g sleep suit and hat
I've got newborn and a couple of 0-1 month bits x
I've got a first outfit both in newborn and up to one month A going home outfit in newborn and up to one month And then 4 extra outfits in both sizes (sleepsuit and vest)
I’ve packed a couple of tiny baby and 0-1 and mostly newborn. But I’ll adjust that accordingly based on our growth scans
Upto 1 month x
Just up to 1 month (which is up to 10lbs) .. 0-3 will most likely swamp a newborn!
I was going with first size which is up to 9/10lbs
I've packed 2 newborn sleepsuits one up to one month sleepsuit. Also packed 3 up to 1 month vests and 1 newborn going home outfit. Although I'm feeling like I didn't pack enough looking at everyones comments 🤦🏽♀️
@Sonia I've read that some people have just kept their baby in a nappy covered in a blanket for most of the time in hospital. I think you'll be fine :) I think some of these baby bags checklists are a bit OTT. I massively downsized mine as ran out of room, and I have 3 bags!
@Jerry i have no idea what babies even wear in the summer and if it's too hot for them, so I've bought a lot of outfits that don't have the feet attached and just assume I can put socks on them?! I find all the lists really overwhelming and feel like I'm missing something. Also I've packed so many different varieties of sanitary pads, nappy type, cooling ones, extra large ones etc - but some people say the hospital provide these?
@Sonia the clothes thing is soooo confusing! I've got lots of vests for the daytime, sleepsuits.. but not much else. i reckon that will do. I am assuming that they'll spend most of the day in a vest, covered with a blanket to sleep. Sling counts as a layer too. If we find we need something desperately we can send someone out to get it when baby is born ❤️ As long as you can carry it in to the hospital go for it :) better to be prepared..but I'd say the hospital will have all necessities when/if you need also xxx
My midwife said to me to buy closer to due date some newborn, leave the tags on and take them back if you don’t need them so that’s what I’m doing. I’ve got up to 1 month in my hospital bag x
I did 3 vests and sleep suits in the 0-1 month and 3 in 0-3.

@Caitlin I've found most newborn and up to 1 month are pretty much the same size
I've done 3 in tiny baby, 3 in newborn (have found that most newborn and 0-1/up to 1 month is the same size), and 3 in 0-3 so I'm good regardless of size.
@Becka for us newborn was a bit tight on my boy at the feet but was comfier in the 0-1 month, could have just been because he was on the long side too🥰
My first baby I only took newborn and it was all absolutely tiny on him. So this time I’ll definitely pack some 0-3 😂
I'll be taking some newborn (up to 7lbs) and some of the up to 1 month (10lbs) my daughter was 8lbs 5 at birth and still needed newbornn for the first couple of weeks
I’ve packed 3 sleep suits/bodysuits in each newborn and 0-3 🥰 x
