I had a early viability scan today
6 weeks 6 days - cycles in the past have been irregular
A gestation sac is seen towards the fundus of the uterus measuring a mean sac diameter of 11.6mm (5.9weeks). A yolk sac
seen. A possible fetal pole seen measuring 1.9mm. No fetal heart pulsations seen during todays scan.
Any ideas on what to make of this they have called me in again a week or 2 for another scan

Hiya lovely. I had a scan last Wednesday thinking I was 7 weeks and they think I ovulated later in my cycle as they seen a yolk sac and they said I’m around 5/6 weeks. I have to go back next Wednesday to make sure the pregnancy has progressed. Normally after 6 weeks mark you see a fetal pole and a heart beat. With my first pregnancy I seen a fetal pole and a heart beat at 6 weeks 3 days. Don’t stress yourself. I’m sure everything is fine! You’ll go back in 2 weeks time and see that little bean and beautiful flicker on the screen. X
