Burnout

Anyone just hate their child when feeling burnt out ! Like everything they do just irritates you . My LG is 14 months. She’s been getting over croup this past week and I’m just so over it . Along with the biting as she’s teething ( EBF) and not eating/ throwing food on the floor etc

I would not say hate but yes the rest of it. When you are feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, anxious, depressed external things can definitely push. I have a 6 year old who has decided he's a teenager and a 13m teether. To add to it my job is in trouble because I started in a bad place and never had the support to get out and now people are complaining I don't work. It definitely makes me wonder if I should have had kids with how I feel and not able to give them what I believe they should have as a mom. Do you have a support system? Any way to just have 30-60 minutes to yourself? I have found it helps a little

Unfortunately it’s just me and her 7-6 Monday - Friday as partner working during those times. Then weekends my partner doesn’t work but is doing a degree so he’s not fully hands on . And no parents help

Would you have a friend or a babysitter who could watch her for an hour? I have tried the go into the other room and leave the baby in a safe enclosure but it makes things worse for me hearing my baby cry. Not sure if you have attempted that method.other than that maybe a walk? If she handles strollers well or if she can walk safely/calmly with you? Are you here only comfort? Maybe try something that she loves that you have little input on if you aren't? I've heard frozen green onions help with teething I haven't tried it yet. Orajel/Tylenol/ibuprofen for pain. Frozen fruits in a teether mesh could help. I am sorry we are in the same boat. And unfortunately parenting and parenting with mental health issues doesn't have a book

Yes I do, I have 2 boys and I do so much with them because of husband schedule and it's so frustrating to do it all
