We had one at 8 weeks , then having our two NHS ones at 12 and 20. We are probably going to have a private one every 5 weeks after that. We have a lot planned between the two NHS ones, so we are hoping time just goes really fast but has definitely been a struggle waiting for 4 weeks. I was close to booking one last week but it would have been within 2 weeks of our 12 week one and you can't have them that close together so had to wait a bit longer
Early on I had one at 6 + 4 and 8 + 4 as it is my first pregnancy and wanted reassurance, especially as I didn’t have any morning sickness. You shouldn’t have them less than 2 weeks apart
Not in this group but popped up on my feed, I was so so anxious about MC in early pregancy that I paid for a private scan every fortnight 😅 it added up in cost but the peace of mind it brought me was priceless . I relaxed massively after the 12 week scan 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I had a reassurance scan at 8 weeks with my previous pregnancy but sadly MC at 10+3 -the reassurance of seeing the heartbeat made the MC so much harder to deal with. I am now 11 weeks pregnant and just waiting for 12 week scan - I couldn't put myself through false reassurance again.
I’ve had the 6 weeks reassuring scan, and NHS booked my first scan at 10 weeks, now it’s 11, I had an other one but only because it was a part of the NIPT test that I had privately. Don’t think I will have more… with my first I also had these 2.
I had a 6 week and 9 week one. Couldn’t wait 🤣 also symptoms disappeared at 8 weeks so I panicked
@Laura are your symptoms back? I'm 11 weeks and mine have taken a nose dive x
@Cayleigh yep came back a week later 😓🤣 fuming
@Laura 🤣
I had one at 8w and was going to wait until 12w scan as everything was fine (last pregnancy was MMC), I am going for a private scan later today as had a small bleed last night. The general guidelines are you can have them every 2 weeks but there are exceptions
