Day naps

Just out of curiosity where are your babies sleeping in the day for their naps? I'm trying to introduce one nap a day in her room in her cot, swaddled and white noise on. But still want some contact naps!

Wherever he’ll sleep 😂 usually car seat or we have a newborn attachment for our high chair and he seems to love that at the moment. Won’t go down in his Moses basket no matter what but sleeps absolutely fine at night, god knows! I just do what I can haha x

Same as above where ever he sleeps. It's usually on me, but will very easily sleep in the carseat/pram when we go out x

Either the pram and I’ll leave him in there once we’re home if he’s still asleep or his bouncer. It reclines so not sitting up straight. He’s not a fan of his Moses basket anymore but used to have his naps in there x

All on me. Mostly in the carrier as I have a 3 year old to take care of. I contact napped with my first until around one year.

We are also trying one nap per day in the cot (usually morning nap). I have to settle her all the way to sleep and it’s usually only 30-45 mins but all good practise! Other naps are either contact, pram, carrier - sometimes if it’s a contact one then once she’s asleep I’ll pop her down in her Moses basket. She will occasionally let me settle her in there but it’s hard work downstairs as I have a 2 yr old as well

My 10 week old is the same, he will only contact nap otherwise he’ll wake every 10-20 minutes🥲 i’m just appreciating all the little snuggles before he doesn’t want to anymore🤣xx

in her bouncer downstairs and in her next to me if we’re upstairs

Embrace the contact naps!! There is so much research around the benefits for brain development of babies being held/ contact naps! We have a wrap carrier where mine does most of her sleeping
