Scar redness

Hi ladies, I’m currently 9 weeks PP. My scar originally reopened on one side a couple of days after c-section and it took about 5 weeks or maybe longer for it to close back up. It is now closed. My scar is still very red though. I had two lots of antibiotics- one was given when scar first reopened and one later on for the redness which was probably an infection (I had redness and it smelled a little bit). The scar looks red again and my belly is tender - is this something any of you experienced for such a long time after the surgery or should I maybe go back to GP again as it could be another infection?

No but I had a very straightforward non traumatic section. No issues healing or recovery. I’m 16 weeks post my second section now and it’s the same. It’s red but it’s going lighter pink in sections of the scar and eventually it’ll go white.

I'm 9 weeks post C-section and my scar is still red, it's not opened up and I've been told multiple times it's healing well.
