Belly stopped growing

Hey yall. My belly stopped growing for about a week now. I am 26 weeks and 4 days today. When I do my breathing exercises I can tell that he has grown (like my uterus is bigger, not sure how else to explain it) but my belly in full has not. (If that makes sense) Is that normal, or anyone else experiencing this? I will be going to my OB appt May 2nd but should I go ahead and inform them?

Did you measure your belly? Sometimes it’s hard to tell that it’s grown and it could be the position of the baby. I would message your doctor either way for peace of mind.

There is time when I feel like that my belly stopped growing, but my doctor said I am still growing, especially when he told me the weight of my baby but it could be the position of the baby because with me she’s under the bottom cause that’s where I feel more pressure.

@Chelsey no I haven’t been, but my husband also mentioned it. That’s why I’m wondering if I need to worry or not!

@Debbie Allen under the bottom? What you mean by that? From what I can tell my baby is super low and he has been super low since I got pregnant! I’m hoping it’s like you though! When I went in for my 20 week anatomy scan he was at the 75th percentile

Trust me, it hasn’t stopped growing yet. You got a wholeeeeeeee other trimester to go lol.

@Hancel I wouldn’t worry about it too much. You’re probably just less bloated. My boyfriend tells me I don’t even look pregnant some days, but then I eat a lot of food and the bump is bumping again haha

@Hancel what I mean is she’s not on top so whenever I do my ultrasound, the heartbeat is always under my belly button. But sometimes she moves up and go back down. That’s how she has been her comfort spot. But trust me you’re good.

@Chelsey I hope so! Just wanted to see other people’s thoughts and what not. 😬

my doc does the old tape measure every time I go in, even when I don't feel like I'm getting that much bigger around, she says I've been tracking pretty closely. even though she's just 20th percentile fundal height is at my estimated weeks at each appointment. it's another helpful reassurance. I always say though, if your OB is good, you should be able to bring up any worries!
