One year old bedtime advice 👼🏽

So… my baby is 13 months now and we still cuddle him to sleep every night. He has a bottle in the dark (noise machine and lullaby) then falls asleep on my partner or myself and once he’s asleep he is placed in his cot. It’s getting exhausting now 😂 I wouldn’t mind and actually LOVE cuddling him to sleep when he just drifts of peacefully 🥲 but for the last couple of months it’s been taking anywhere between an hour to two hours!! Does anyone have any advice on how I can get him to fall asleep in his cot?

If it's taking 1-2 hours is it just that he's not tired enough to go to sleep? I just put my little boy in his cot in his sleep sack with white noise and stroke his back or pat his bum. I've done this since he's 4.5 months and now he goes to sleep independently at 9 months and has done for about 2 months

I was rocking my daughter to sleep until 16 months and it was taking an hour or 2 for her to fall asleep. Turned out she was getting too much day sleep so I had to cap the naps. Also for bedtime I changed the routine so that the last milk bottle was 30 minutes before bed and while she was having quiet time. And then just water out of a sippy cup for the night. This seemed to go well and she started sleeping better of a night and going down easier. X

What's the timings for wake up, nap/s and bedtime?

I leave my daughter to sleep in our bed & i leave the bedroom. She ends up falling asleep & i go back in when i wanna sleep
