Completely depends on what you want to use it for? Just a quick shopping trip? School runs? Hiking? Everyday use? Will it be something you want to put on quickly with ease? Or something heavy duty to last as baby gets bigger? Do you want a lightweight breathable fabric for summer? I’d research what you want it for and go from there. I’ve got three different ones that each do something different depending on what I need for it that day. I lean towards cotton to make it less sweaty for you and baby. Also check if it’s suitable for newborn or 3 months+
I loved my Tula free to grow and Lenny lamb. Join a baby wearing Facebook group or a sling library for advice as there are a lot of carriers out there that aren't safe. Some are advertised for newborns like the momcozy and you often can't get a safe fit!
