@Estera the top of his head, he does it everyday, multiple times a day. Hes not in any pain of any sort, he mainly does it when he gets told off or when we say somethings silly x
my little boy is the same! it came out of the blue too, he does it as the top of his head (side of forehead). I thought it was only my child who done it but i’m glad to hear it’s not🥲
I googled this about 2 minutes ago, so weird 😂 My 18 month old has started doing the same. When she’s hurt herself too or fallen over she will hit her head to make it seem like she’s hurt it 😂
@Marcie i thought the exact same! Im glad theres someone who relates! What have you tried to get your LO to stop?
we just try and distract his hands and move them away, he’s currently doing it now but hitting the sofa/toys as my partner said the word ‘no’
My little one has been doing this as well mainly when she is angry or frustrated, according to our hv it's normal behaviour for this age ..... Not sure how head banging is normal
Is it his head or the side of his face? My little boy does it when he’s teething and it’s hurting him. It could also indicate that he could have a bit of a headache if it just came out of nowhere x
