Nappy changes

Ours is 10 a day. 18 does sound like a lot!

We average about 7-8 a day. They're very absorbent these days.

That does sound like a lot! I have never counted or tracked but I would guess like 7 or 8 on average?? Maybe I should try counting tomorrow to see lol

I do about 10 depends on the poo situation! I’m breastfeeding so find he poo’s quite a lot

Wow, what are we doing wrong then?? At this stage she cries when she wants feeding/changing/comforting and we go through that cycle!

Are all 18 dirty/wet? My baby is 3 weeks I think we change it about 6/7 times a day but she only poos every couple days

@Kathryn so since 6am this morning (when the app resets) she's had 4 mixed nappies (pee and poop) 1 poo, 7 wee's.... And we've still got until 6am to go ....

@Ashley you’re not doing anything wrong! Some babies do just pee and poo more than others and that’s completely normal. We change before every feed which is 2/3 hours mostly and then whenever in between if it seems full or she’s had a poo so sometimes we’re probably getting through close to that number too

@Ashley my little girl is similar to you, we must go through about 20 a day. She’s really struggling with loose poos and even if she farts and some comes out she’ll want a nappy change You’re not alone in the excessive nappy situation, she’s costing me a fortune! 😂

We were averaging 13 a day but in the last week or so it's reduced. My health visitor said it's normal, some babies are just more poopy!

We also have March baby, he is just four weeks today and I think 18 is way too many. We check nappy with each feeding which is approximately every three hours or we change it whenever we feel/smell like it’s needed 😀 don’t have app but would say around 10ish a day?
