My boy doesn't put two words together yet. For example 'mummy's car' or bye mummy. He has a good vocabulary but just single words at the moment. Are your toddlers joining two words yet ?

I put not joining words together yet as she has a wide range of single words but she will say hi/bye (someone’s name if she knows it), oh dear and that’s about it! She was due in September but came in October. She has the vocab to try and say 2 words as she says and signs please, as well as says a variety of words that could go with it and uses them in context but just doesn’t x

She joins two words but not loads. It’s mainly things like help me, uh oh, yes please, more please. For reference though she was born on 29th August (was due 1st Sept) so she is on the older side.
