C section scar

I had my c section 2 years ago now, but since yesterday my scar has been red, sore, pussie and smelly. It's bank holiday so my drs is shut and 111 is no help. I've got 2 little ones so sitting at urgent care is just not an option, has anyone had this and got something from the pharmacy that I could give a try?

Sorry you're experiencing this. I'm 7 weeks PP and had a tonne of issues with my incision, do you have any openings? The best thing you need to do is to get it seen too, until then I would advice to clean it with just water ( let the water run over it ) then dab it dry, then place a panty liner there to observe it. I was told to not put anything on it other than water. Sorry I couldn't be more help xo

@Kimberley I've been using cotton wool and water and then trying to let it air dry but with a 2 yo and a 9 month old there's not much time for that 🤣🤣 Can't see any openings on it. I luckily didn't have any issues when I originally had it but now it's just randomly started and ofcourse it's bank holiday weekend so can't go to the Dr's. Thank you xx

I had similar a few months back, I popped into the pharmacy and they gave a cream (can’t remember what it was called though) to use twice a day for a week, but within a few days could notice a difference!
