Forward facing car seat question

To start, not interested in discussing forward vs backwards. My husband and I are curious with regards to when our son is forward facing: is there any difference in safety when the seat is fully upright Vs when it is tilted back more? Thanks.

No. There is no difference in safety, if it’s forward facing they all have the same risks of paralysis and internal decapitation. No idea of the age of your child but age 4 is the minimum it would be safe to forward face, obviously the longer your rear face him for the safer he is xx

Thanks. Aware of all the forward vs rear but it is helpful to know re the tilted or not. X

@Emma check the manual for your particular seat. Ours cannot be tilted when forward facing as it creates instability where the base meets the seat

@Ceri-Ann thanks - good point! We only have been doing upright but mu husband asked and I then wasn't sure if it made a difference. X
