Blood loss after having baby?
Hi all,
What was your blood loss like after having baby?
My baby is going to be 4 weeks old next week and I'm still loosing bright red fresh blood constantly.
I've been discharged by the midwife team now as they did a swab and it came back normal.
I didn't think I'd still have fresh red bleeding 4 weeks after delivery?

Mines only just stopped now and my little girl is 5 weeks on Monday
I've had it for almost 6 weeks
With my first I bled for 8 weeks, although I did haemorrhage after birth. This time they put me on a drip to stop it after birth and I bled for about 3 weeks
My first pregnancy I’m sure it went on for 6 weeks, second now and I lost a lot of clots in the first 36 hours then it was lighter and finished sooner.

Mines just stopped at 3 weeks but for last two weeks it’s just been light / pinkish x
