Dramamine, my midwife said crush 2, put it into 32oz of Gatorade with ice and sip it, said it can be done a couple times a day if needed, she wrote down how many times but I'm laying in bed with my kiddo right now so I don't have it in front of me. Dramamine is typically an over the counter motion sickness/nausea med that works really well for me even when I'm not pregnant
I literally just came from my obgyn the other day telling them they need to prescribe me Zofran bc unison and b6 wasn't working. Girl I have not been nauseas today since taking some. I'd either go to obgyn or even urgent care will prescribe you Zofran also if you go in complaining of nausea.
Im with you :( and my zofran is no longer working
@Kelcey which one do you have? Do you have the melted away tablet or just the regular Zofran pill? So I was actually giving another brand (still Zofran but different brand) called ondansetron and it's a melt away tab and I find it works better for me than the actual Zofran.
I had to get a prescription for Raglan. I was so nauseated all the time that I ended up at the hospital because I was so dehydrated
@Megan I’m gonna speak with them next week at my appt. At first, the unisom and b6 worked wonders, but they just stopped working. Specifically at night is when I’m most nauseous😭
@Lorelei and Chy +1 Thank you, I will try this😩
@Brianna the melt one is also the only one that works for me but I think taking it quite a bit in the first trimester decreased its effectiveness :(
@Sarah that was my first pregnancy. I had real bad HG and ended up hospitalized and almost died. 🫤 i was put on like 6 different meds and lost my hair from it. This pregnancy nope, not doing that. 😑 as soon as nausea started went to my obgyn and asked for the medicine.
@Kelcey oof im sorry girl, hopefully the nausea goes away soon. 😔
If it's at night, you could be having acid reflux as well. Try tums before laying down and maybe prop yourself up on pillows so you're not laying flat. Also try sleeping on your left side. Just for while you're waiting to see your OB. Also, most OBs can prescribe this over the phone. You can try calling them in the morning and asking for it because of how nauseous you are.
The only thing that worked for me with this one was promethazine … yes it was proscribed by a er doctor I had extreme nausea ended up having a uti in my blood !!
I’m so sorry 😭 it’s literally the worst I’m just starting to get over mine. Did you talk to your doctor about zofran?
