Moving house
Hi I'm just looking for advice im moving house from a one bedroom flat to a 2 bedroom house my lo has always been in my bedroom as there was no room due to having a one bedroom flat im worried about her having her own room how do your little ones do in there own room ? Also should I get a toddler bed an all as she's still in cot due to no room in flat

We did it at 7.5 months and she was totally fine within about a week! Now sleeps all night in her own room in her cot. I would stick to the cot for now if I were you, instead of making more changes all at once, at least that would be familiar for her x
We transitioned our LB into his own room at 7m. For 2 nights I put his cot in our room and then put it back in his room. The first 3 night he was in there were really unsettled but he's used to it now. We have also now moved to a floor bed but I agree with CeeCee and I'd keep her in her cot to start with so it's not too many changes at once x
We moved ours into his own room at 5m, he sleeps like a dream and we are better for it too

If it’s of any reassurance, mine did the transition to his own room quickly and easily. We had to do it at 5 months because he had outgrown the next to me crib! Could you get one of the cots that transitions into a toddler and then child bed? One you just gradually take the sides off?
