Breastfeeding Weaning

Breastfeeding mamas, how are we feeling about stopping to feed completely? Has anybody had success stories, please send recommendations! We're getting to the stage of my very aware 13 month old lifting my shirt for a feed and I'm worried this could be embarrassing in public 😅

Following as I’m looking to stop breastfeeding myself but mine is a boobie monster 😂❤️

I was very emotional about it I wasn’t sure how long we would go but my little one was nearly 13 months when I stopped. I’m just about to head into my third week of no breastfeeding. We were on 2 feeds a day one for bed and one during the night and I decided enough was enough. I could tell he wasn’t getting enough with how unsettled he was so switched to cows milk in a bottle (he had never taken a bottle before but wanted to try). He’s sleeping through the night about 11 hours now and is so much happier. Everyone is different I hope your journey has been a nice one mine was but towards the end became very hard which is why I made the call x

I am ready but my boy isn’t and it’s really tough now that he understands and can ask for it. Also doesn’t help that he outright refuses any other milk. I have another on the way so was really hoping for a break in between but doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. Following for tips 😂🥲😅

I weaned my 12 month old off in degrees so in the last week before his birthday all he had was a feed before bedtime. Few days after he would want to squeeze or hold my boobie for comfort but now he's fine.
