Clean with cotton wool and cooled boiled water x

Clean with cool boiled water every few hours, from tear duct outwards so your clearing it away. If your breast feeding some breast milk in the eye can clear it up x

Clean with cooled boiled water and cotton wool. Ring 111 to get an out of ours appointment x

We had this a few weekends ago and the pharmacy told me it was very likely to be passed to the other eye and that it’s one of those things that runs its course, so to keep it clean as above and it should clear up in a few days by itself.

We’ve just spent 4 hours in walk in centre as I’ve been watching my little girls one get worse over last 3 days and doctor said the same just cooked boiled water, it’s passed onto both eyes now and this morning she couldn’t open eirher eye 😪 but yeah doctors won’t do anything so save yourself the time says it should clear up within 7 days x

We had the same and in addition to what has already been noted above, they prescribed choramphenicol eye drops. That’s ONLY necessary if it does not go away on its own. I also used cooled down chamomile tea which has antiseptic properties. So that can help to clear it without medication.

We have just got back from the out of hours doctors and they have given us eye ointment. It has spread to the other eye now. He literally only woke up this morning with it. He is asleep in bed now as we got in late. Gave him some Calpol and hope he has a good night sleep. Need to do the treatment for the next 5 days guess he can’t start his new nursey bless him x

Conjunctivitis is not an exclusion illness so he can still start nursery and they can apply ointment as its been prescribed by the doctor xx

Poor boy still feeling sorry for himself second day now.

Yellow/green discharge that wouldn’t go away on its own after regular cleaning for 3weeks

@Elina wow 3 weeks

The week before she had a runny nose, then one sticky eye which turned into two and then a cough followed after. Didn’t take her in for her eye but went Drs as it started to clear for the cough and dr said it was all viral.

Yes it was really bad
